Door adjustment

I have a 2004 Classic 30rb. My entry door is rubbing on the bottom (hinge side). It closes but hard. What is the best way to adjust this. TIA

The door, like the rest of the Airstream structure, is hand built. When first assembled the door on your trailer was adjusted to fit your trailer. There is a video you can find on YouTube on how this is done - basically it is bent by hand using the door and a block of wood. Not a task for the faint of heart.

I’m not sure if your door problem is due to misalignment but it may very well be, or it may be improved by realignment. Mine was.

Post a picture of the rub and more than likely someone with the same problem will chime in on their solution.

Also take a close look at the hinges to see if they are loose or worn.
