Dometic NDM1062 refrigerator interior light

I have a 2010 30 ft AS Classic Limited with a Dometic refrigerator model number NDM1062. The problem is that the interior light does not operate. I have changed bulbs but found that was not the issue. I have power going to the light receptacle because the light operates when the Low Ambient Control (LAC) switch is activated. I am assuming it is probably the switch but not sure how to remove the plastic rivets to remove the housing. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hi Patrick. Common problem, the standard fix is to replace the switch and lampholder assembly. That was done to mine once under warranty and I just use the LAC switch when I really need the light, or wiggle the door switch which sometimes works for a while.
