Dometic AC control box mounting

Hello all. I am restoring a 1972 Overlander and installing a Dometic Dual Therm Brisk Air 2 rooftop AC. I put the unit on the roof but for the life of me can not figure out how the electric control board is supposed to actually be mounted on the ceiling unit. I can see that it sits on top of the ceiling template but I don’t see how it is supposed to be physically attached without taking it apart and screwing it in, but I can not imagine it is supposed to be taken apart. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Below is a diagram of what I am talking about
