If I recall, the owners manual has a step by step.

We full time and chase 70 degree weather year around, so beyond manual recommendation that’s all the help I am. Sorry.

Welcome to the forum . . . and greetings to Brooklin, Maine! I attended Wooden Boat School there in the early 90's, and camped in our old 25' AS right there on the water by the shop.

FYI there is a 20-footer thread, where you can get specific advice for our model:

https://www.airforums.com/forums/f54...rs-127845.html

There is also a Sticky Topic on winterizing in the Winterizing sub-forum, so for rough guidelines just go backwards in the process:

https://www.airforums.com/forums/f458/

Don't forget to flush out all the lines, incl. water heater, with good clean city water using an inline water filter, and new hose for potable water.

You should also treat the water tank, pump, and water lines with a dilute bleach solution, and then flush them out well with city water:

Happy trails,

Peter

PS -- and the owner's manual, as just suggested.

Yes Giffy is still around must be in mid 90's. I think he goes back and forth to Florida.Unfortunately we had to cancel school with the Covid crisis this summer. Feel free to contact me Ill be around WoodenBoat for another year before I retire.

Thanks Todd. You might want to edit ASAP and delete that number IMO, or hit the Contact Us button at the bottom to get a moderator to do so. Privacy first . . .

Thank you Jon and the entire crew for great experiences at WB school! Too bad you had to cancel for the summer . . . will the "new normal" permit resuming school next year? TBD

A time of great changes perhaps . . .

Peter
