Contoure Microwave/Convection Has Died!

2017 Flying Cloud 25' RBT.
Contoure 1.2 cu. ft. Microwave Oven with Convection. Model #RV-187S-CON.

In this model Airstream the Contoure is located above the refrigerator.

Just returned home today from a lovely Thanksgiving camping trip. While on this trip the microwave has pretty much stopped working. It will occasionally operate for 15 seconds but even that is intermittent. We never use the convection feature and would like to replace it with just a microwave. I have researched the forums and saw some recommendations for a unit from RECPRO but wonder if anyone has done a replacement in my model of Airstream and would have a recommendation of microwave model and the process for installation. I have removed the old unit and know the dimensions. Does this involve carpentry work or are there units that will fit right in?

I will appreciate any suggestions or information.
