Complete restoration

New to AS... i’m thinking of buying a 1970s model that really needs to be completely renovated. What’s the best source for finding someone who can help with a complete renovation closest to me?
Thanks,
Cory

It’s a specialty if someone will do a complete restoration or remodel. You will likely need to travel much father then is convenient or make a compromise on quality of rebuild/renovation. It will also be a pretty penny. Usually it’s a labor of love and people do most of the work themselves.

First off - Welcome to AirForums!

Look in the mirror.

That's what we did - nothing like doing it yourself. Our restoration took over 4000 hours - if we would have paid someone for all those hours, we would have been better off buying new.

I guess it really depends on your starting point - but a 70's trailer that hasn't been regularly maintained is going to need a bunch of work. If it has been maintained & just needs a cosmetic upgrade, that's a lot simpler.
