I am a newbie Airstream owner. I was detailing the front cap and as the trailer tonuge was in the way..... I leaned over to get to the center section. I had to balance so I used my palm to steady myself and I put a small indention in the cap. I had very little weight on it but it must have been the radius. I was just amazed about how little effort it took. It has no creases. What should I use to get it out. A suction cup? It is extreamy small but annoying. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Terry
Welcome to the forums. You can use a suction cup, or, if the dent isn't deep, just leave it alone. Believe it or not, many of those kind of dents will work themselves out over a period of time, simply heating and cooling in the Sun. We got a dent in one of our trailer's segments from a big-rig blowout (THAT was a white-knuckle experience), and after a year, you could just barely see a blemish.
