Can't get drawer to close/latch

I have a 2016 Classic and can't get the drawer under fridge to latch or close despite many attempts. Attached is a picture of the latch. Any advice?

Usually this happens when the mating part has been accidentally put into the closed position. You can easily open that part with a small lever, like a screw driver.

Yep. Agree, but if it keeps happening replace the snap part. You can find these latches at any hardware store.
