Canadian Tips & Sources for Airstream Parts

We'd like to know where other Airstream owners have found parts, materials for repairing, refurbishing their trailers in Canada. (We are in Waterloo, Ontario)

From lights, to cushions, beds, aluminum....anything.

We have a 1971 Safari & find locating parts a challenge at times.
Last year we searched everywhere for a tail light lens, broke down & purchased a Grote lens for $15 (+gas & 3hr round trip at our closest AS dealer).

Today, we stumbled upon the same thing, just around the corner from us, at NAPA auto parts, for $3.99! Search by part number - NAPA Auto Parts

We've been looking for a Canadian source for the LED lights that'd fit our trailer (4 1/8"), but so far the only place that we've found is Invland RV in the USA.

We are also looking for an aluminum source & have heard that Spruce Aircraft (Hamilton) has good prices -4x8 sheet for $77 2024T3 Alclad Sheet/Strip Aluminum from Aircraft Spruce We hope to check this out soon.

Please share what & where you have had some good finds in Canada!

Finally found a great deal on an Airstream. Trailer is in good shape, just a few things we need to fix up & want to modify. We plan to make our 'vintage' look like the newer Airstreams.

Aircraft Spruce is at the Brantford airport not Hamilton. They have a lot of stuff needed for repairs. That aluminum at $77 isn't thick enough, you need to use .032 and it's 114.95 for 4x8 2024T3 ALCLAD ALUMINUM from Aircraft Spruce
I shop there a lot for repair parts.
Stop by if your in the area, I'm not far from you and I have a lot of parts and pieces around.

Canadian Parts

I have a lot of success a both Canadian Tire and Lowes----Also check your local RV dealer whatever they sell as long as they have a parts dept. Good Luck because if you order parts from the US you PAY freight

I cannot be of much help with Canadian vendors but if you are changing over your interior incandescent lights to LED I would suggest putting in the small boards with 30 LEDs on each board. You can mount 4 boards per light fixture. They also carry other configurations that work well inside and outside. Check rvspecialthings.com

Can-Am RV is probably your closest Airstream dealer just off the 402 south of London. I found I could get a lot of parts not specific to airstream at a local dealer, but had to go to Can-Am for Airstream parts, but be specific, be patient, and expect more than one trip for them to get what you want. Check them out at Can-Am RV :: Home. I found if you can get a parts catalogue you can research the parts yourself and save yourself a lot of time.
