Looks like a custom AS. Any links for a listing for sale? Larger interior photos looking left and right into those sub-divided spaces would help. Some kind of showroom?

Not I. My understanding is that Airstream has only a few custom builders that they will sell a trailer like that to for finishing.

Side loading, it’s a horse trailer.

The project design was inspired by the Hall of Mirrors in the Palace of Vesailles but life intervened and it was never completed.
No?

Decades ago, if you knew the right people and have the right connections you could have airstream build a custom trailer for you. I don’t believe airstream does that exactly today, but they do provide basically blank shells to certain third-party vendors who then take and customize them into whatever their clients want.
For instance, there are a number of companies that use the airstream shell as a trade show trailer, or a traveling portable store, or even as food trailers, sometimes the third parties will take an existing vintage trailer and refurbish it, but sometimes the client wants some thing brand new. That’s what this appears to be,
If you do a Internet search for airstream trade show trailer, and look at the images, you will find a wide variety of different designs. Or if you go to one of these vendors’ websites, like timeless travel trailers Inc., or some other third-party airstream vendors, and you look at their projects gallery, you will see a wide variety of such trailers that they customized for corporate clients. Some of them have the entire sides open up, I have also seen trailer length skylights like this one has, tailgates, lots of windows, no windows, just about anything you can imagine.
The marketing budgets of some of these especially large companies are so large, they can afford to pay a third-party hundreds of thousands of dollars to customize such a trailer, use it once, or for just a few seasons, and then abandon it.

I posted one like that last year for sale at North Trail RV in Ft. Meyers.
I assume it's made for some specialty use, a coffee stand, or electronics unit. Wood ribs and a door on the street side?
Make it just like you want?
Not for habitation with no windows or plumbing.

The listing I just posted?
No air conditioners . . . storage niches for extra-terrestrials who need a super-heated space?
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Weird . . . both exterior doors have extra hinged panels which look like they may have glass in them, for skylights when deployed up, perhaps over canvas rooms/tents?

So we all now realize that we are dating ourselves in that we even know what these past few posts are about? My son does as I told him about them and he had to google it, the same as the Hamms commercials....he now seeks Hamms out when he can find it just because of the Utube commercials. Funny what things come and go around again.....

Looks to me it can be setup for a utility trailer for HVAC, electrician or plumbing contractors, or even general contractors to carry their tools and supplies.

Not thinking I want to be hiring any contractor doing a rig like that to haul their tools....just saying. I do like a clean and not beat up equipment vehicle, but that for a contractor? Now working in the produce industry the guys who move equipment from Yuma to the Central Valley have some cool rigs...but it is race car trailer with tools stacked on the side. So I think we need to dig deeper as to what this one is. I am really curious though.......
