Camloop replacement howto?

So this little bugger on the bumper hatch fell off. We are on the road and found a new one the PO left. How the heck do you replace them?

The ring slips off when the spring is compressed. You'll notice that the V tab is skinnier then where it sits in your pic. Move the ring down towards the compressed spring. To install. Reverse order. Btw. The compression can be done with your finger. Hope this helps.

I bought camloc replacements at Out of Doors Mart, for about $3 if I remember correctly.
