Bunk bed dimensions

Does anyone have an original Airstream bunk bed? My Ambassador has the supporting hardware, but no bunks. I am trying to find the dimensions of the originals so I can fabricate a correct copy. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have an original folding aluminum frame, cable suspended bunk in my '66 Caravel. I'd be happy to take photos and measure anything you need.

Silversleeper, thanks for the links. Those pictures will help a lot.

jimlars or pinktrailer: I would appreciate dimensions. I'm looking for overall length and width. I also need the dimensions of the aluminum tube that makes the frame.

Would anyone be willing to lend me a bunk for a week or two? I'd pay for shipping and give a deposit.

I presume you got your measurements? There is another thread where my bunk bed is being discussed, with the fact that there were two different sizes, one quite a bit shorter than the other.

Thanks for the head's up. I read the thread about your trailer where the guy said he has a short bunk. What is the length of your bunk bed? 72"?

It cracks me up that of all the posts and "answers" in this thread, no one actually answers the question. It's like the measurements are top secret. Why the pm's and posts with links to elsewhere? Why not just post the dimensions? Especially for those who come looking for the same answer later. Hilarious.
