Brake Hub Removal

I have a 2018 Tommy Bahama 19ft AS with the need to remove and check the brakes. I took my AS to a non-Airstream dealer who I trust and has done good work for me in the past. When the mechanic tried to get the brake drum off, I am told they need a special tool? The mechanic said that the nut size in not standard and something they have never seen before. This trailer has the Never lube bearing. What is the right size socket/tool to remove the barring and brake assembly?

It's not that it is a special tool, just not a common size socket used every day. I am pretty well equipped with automotive tools, but had to run to farm and fleet for this socket. Same with my son's volt front hub. Had to run out for that uncommon socket as well.
