Boeshield, but why?

I keep a running list of things I hear about and may want to add to my ever-bulging toolbox.

If I need to plump out some online shopping to get free shipping, I’ll go to the list and add something to the order.

That’s how I ended up with “Boeshield T-9.”

Now the question is, what’s it good for?

As I recall, Boeshield comes highly recommended. I just can’t remember why.

Great all around lubricant. Use it everywhere. Discovered it years ago when living on a boat and cruising full time.

An important product. I use a competing product camel 'Corrosion X'. I treat all of my external seams and rivets twice per year. I also dab rust spots on the frame and tongue when I see them.

It's an anti-rust product. Just picked up a can, so we'll see if it is a long term player or a short term try out.

But ... What is logic for using on rivets and seams? Captain Tolly's will seal those and an application of wax protects the raw aluminum edge. Do tell, please.

Well, it does keep the Portuguese Water Dogs from rusting away in the Garden.👍
