Black Tank Release Valve

Left rear tire blew on our 2006 Classic on our way home from Swiss Rally. When the tire blew, it damaged the black tank handle and stem. Of course the tank is 3/4 full (we were going to dump at next campsite). Any idea how difficult it would be to replace that valve and stem? Thanks.

Hopefully you can still pull it to dump? Never done so or even looked at mine but was under the impression the valves can be rebuilt in place. Let's hope so.
Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

If the valve stem that goes into the valve body is not damaged, it will be easy(ish) to repair. You could also grab onto the valve stem (carefully) with vise-grips to pull open the valve and dump the tank.

If you cannot grab onto the valve stem or it is jammed, you are going to have a real mess on your hands (pun intended)...
