Beep is driving me crazy

I just picked up a wonderful 2008 safari se 27fb
Everything was working great when I brought it home but after running the furnace for a whil, it is hooked up to shore power, I have a beep every minute or so. I checked the carbon monide detector and the smoke alarm but it is not that. I am out of propane, but I cannot locate the source of the beep.
Please help out a newbe.
Thanks

Check the date on your propane detector they have a life cycle I think it's 5or 7 years

Usually mounted low, in a non-traffic area. Plastic box-like gadget about 4x5x2 or so. Mine is fastened to the rear of the dinette bench box that has the power panel in it.

Probably has a blinking LED on it and (grin) making beeping noises...

They are usually hard-wired to the battery, and that's why it is so stubbornly noisy...

Check your owner's manual, which has a lot of other helpful info you should know, especially about winterizing your AS when freezing weather hits.

Welcome to the forum!

Found it

Found it the yellow light is on showing fault
Does that mean it has to be pep laced and if so how do you disconnect it the wires are soldered in on the unit and and I do not see any connectors. Is this a part I need to go to my local dealer for

Hi

Propane detectors are a pretty RV specific thing. You are unlikely to find them anywhere other than a dealer. Once you see the new part, the hookup should be pretty easy to figure out ( = no, it's not soldered in).

You could call the AS dealer a little south of Portland for guidance. Not sure if you have one in Eugene?
