Bathroom Removal

I need to remove the bathroom from the 1972 Globetrotter I just purchased so I can replace the subfloor. I'd like to do it, preserving everything to put back in. Looks like there are bolts holding the tub/floor in on the door side ... but how is everything else attached? Just caulked/sealed to the wall? Anchored somehow? How can I remove the floor, sink and toilet without damaging them? I'd appreciate any advice.

Removing the toilet is easy. Disconnect the lines and remove the 2 closet bolts holding the toilet to the floor. But if this is the original toilet I would replace it.

Based on experience removing the rest of the bathroom will be near impossible without damage as the composite plastic material will be very brittle. It also is near impossible to repair cracks. No matter how hard you try the cracks reoccur.

If I had to do it again I would save myself a whole lot of time and just rip that stuff out of there. This of course means building a new bathroom. But if you are anything like me you will probably try to get the bathroom out intact. Good Luck.

It can be removed carefully ! You will find a lot of fasteners, rivets and screws .
I removed and reinstalled this one in a 1970 Overlander . Take your time if it is not moving there is a hidden fastener. Good luck !
