Bambi Accordion shower door REPLACEMENT ?

I currently own a 2016 Bambi 22FB, Needing to replace the folding accordion shower curtain / door. ( certainly a weak link in the Bambi). The pleats have just seen better days after 5 years and 16,000 miles.

Has anyone attempted this replacement ? It does NOT appear too complicated ?

Where to purchase a new Curtain / door?

Is there an Upgrade ? ( I hope)

Can't wait to see the answer here. Have a shower door in an 05' CCD that has seen better days and would like to upgrade if possible as well.

Just thinking out loud, why not do something custom and changing the look and function of your space?

I wouldn’t put a full on glass shower door in but you may be able to. Just getting creative juices flowing here. It’s okay to still with stock as well

I dont know if this is relevant but I disliked the accordion door in my 16 that closes off the bed and bath from the front rooms. I bought a heavy canvas shower curtain from Vermont Country store and some big loop curtain hooks. Cut off the accordion door at the top tabs so part of the tabs with the reinforced holes were still there. Then hooked the curtain hooks through those. Voila nice natural colored sliding curtain!

We replaced the cheap accordion door with the one as in the higher models

The bathrooms for most models are the same dimensins

The knob stripped out on mine after two years. So I gotta figure out a replacement for that, so I feel your pain with the door.

We have had the retractable (works like a window shade) shower door in our 19' since it was new and it is still working wonderfully. I have had to recaulk it. Very similar doors are:
