Atwood Furnace Replacement

Hey All,
Getting ready to replace our furnace with a new Atwood Excalibur iv in our new 1995 34' Excella 1000. I know that Suburban is far more common, but I'm replacing an old Atwood that was already there and the dimensions are right. Does anyone know of a post that anyone has done showing a step by step instruction with photos for demonstrating the replacement?

Thanks,
Jeff

No, but I just had a blower motor replaced on my 93. The Atwood looks like a fairly easy replacement. I will follow this thread with interest.

Years ago Atwood started removing the general/internet availability of information for their products; probably due to legal concerns about DIY work. They are quick to recommend you go to a shop rather than attempt self service if you call for help/insight. However, Atwood is pretty good at supplying parts if you know what you need so the part names in the link below might be of some assistance.

That noted, some material on earlier generations can still be found on the net that might help you figure out your install challenge. For example:

As for pictures and a 'how-to' thread on the forums, I haven't seen one. There are some about the Suburban for whatever insight that provides.

Thanks for the replies. I'll try to take some good pictures and post them when I tackle the job.
