That works!.
Clear silicone is also used in the CRJ jet to fasten temp sensor wire to the front wing spar.
I've used it to fasten large mesh window screen to my Maxx-Airrs and inside the Air conditioner housing to keep birds and bugs out.

The C in CSA stands for Canada and last time I checked Quebec was still part of Canada. Unless you can come up with valid information from CSA I have to think that your assertion is hooey as you say so well.
And as for getting your information from Ontarioans you might want to multiply your sources and check your facts before presenting an urban legend as a fact.

I have a 2016 Flying Cloud 28 and cannot find anything that even looks close to fitting the furnace and the manual is no help at all.
These are really nice and well made and fit the water heater perfectly http://www.mud-dauber.com/screens.htm (W100 for 6 gallon). However their M200 is supposed to fit the furnace but doesn't come close.
Anybody know where to go to get one that will fit?
Dealer charged $400 to clean out the dirt daubers.

My 2016 FC25 rear twin furnace looks completely different from your photo. I wonder how many different models they use?
Thanks!

The manual provided with the trailer says Atwood "hydro flame" AFM series then provides five different model numbers (D16-D35) Have no idea which one I have. Nothing on the outside of unit. Guess I would have to remove all the screws to get to the inside for further identification.

Just measure the minimum size rectangle needed to cover the vents and then pick the best screen option from their dimensions online.

That is pretty ridiculous. The screen I had put on the intake/exhaust of mine has at least 10 times the open area of the air intake itself. It was put on after dirt dobbers or something built a nest inside the intake where it couldn't be seen and caused the side of the trailer to be smoked up. As a safety concern, there is more danger from a malfunction caused by the bugs than the screen. Also, if Atwood can't design their furnaces to operate properly with something to exclude bugs they aren't very smart.

I went to the local hardware store today and bought some aluminum screen for $0.99. I cut it to fit the slotted area on the water heater door and the furnace door. I then took some pf the aluminum strands to tie the screen to the slots. This all took less than 30 minutes.

What amazes me about this whole screen "ordeal" is that I called Atwood, Airstream, and the dealer and nobody had a clue about the exact furnace I have. I even had the manual and a number and still nothing. I finally bent and maneuvered the ones I bought and managed to get a fit. I like the idea of hardware cloth cut-to-fit then siliconed in place much better. These are USA made and nicely constructed. http://jcjenterprises.com/

Careful now... you're foot is entering your mouth. It's about bugs plugging those little thingies that allow air and gas do their work
