Anyone successfully had a Dometic RML 8555 fixed...?

I have read a few threads relating to issues with the Dometic RML (three way auto power units) not cooling while in Gas or 12 volt mode. Most folks either replaced the entire unit or swapped it to a different model.

So... has anyone successfully repaired this issue? Any advice?

I’ve had two techs diagnose and half repair the unit (half, meaning zero percent fixed, and 100% billed).

Any guidance will be appreciated. Tired of warm milk in the morning and warm beer in the evening.

Matt, you can check with National Refrigeration in Shipshewana, IN, Leon can fix any type absorption unit. Mine after he repaired it I have to run on 2 to keep things from freezing in frig part. Google him and give him a call. He will remove it and fix while you are there more than likely. Nice road trip to Amish country.
