Just wondering if anyone has an opinion on quality of work, etc., of a vintage trailer repair facility in southern California named Iowa Boys? Their website is www.IowaBoys.com. Thanks, Evans

If you use a non-Airstream dealer, and need Airstream parts, typically you will pay more for the parts, or brand X parts will be used, since non-Airstram dealers cannot buy parts from the factory.

If brand X parts are used, then when you travel and have a problem with one pf those parts, you will not be able to go to any Airstream dealer for assistance.

You have a '65 if it's like my '68 it doesn't have many original AS parts in it and if it did AS wouldn't warranty them anyway... Well the new parts they put in they might... But then AS shops a few and far between...
