Alternative Materials, Methods, and "Hacks"

Hi everybody!

Now that I'm bored at home due to the quarantine, I thought I'd start a fun thread on nontraditional building materials and methods for Airstream restoration.

What alternate materials have you used in your renovations/repairs? Did you use a nontraditional method to accomplish a hard task? Did it work and would you recommend that for others in that specific application? Do you have a hack you would like to share?
