Airstream salvage yard

I stumbled across a picture of an R.V. salvage yard with an Airstream section with what looked like twenty or more trailers.I wasn't smart enough to book mark the website and I was wondering if anyone else might know what the website is.Thanks a bunch, Spencer

A great place to visit if you are in the area.

Easy to spend several hours looking & shopping.

Bring your credit card(s) they have lots and lots of stuff.

Located in MO I-44 exit 22

Is it a place that you pull your own parts, most of the places I have found will not let you pull your own parts so by the time some guy hacks the part off it is now good!?

Usually they will pull the parts, however we have been there when they were busy, and we have done it ourselves if it is a small thing. They are good at it, things don't get torn up when they do it. I don't know if there are as many as 20 Airstreams, there may be 15 or so, most in quite a state of ruin, and hundreds of SOBs. We haven't been for a couple of months, there may be more now. Still lots of good parts but not much of anything left of interiors. There is an extensive building full of parts of all kinds and another of new stuff, some of which will fit Airstreams, a lot of it being interchangeable.Quite often they will have a few Airstreams that are rebuildable, and those they won't sell for salvage parts. All in all, well worth a looksee if you need panels or windows, etc. We check every so often ourselves to see if they have anything we need, being only a few miles from there.

I bought a shower pan for a '74 from Colaws, over the phone. Got it 5 days later. There was a little dirt on it but was in almost new condition. The packaging was unbelievable, enough 2x4's to build a small dog house and enought screws to finish the interior of my '65. I would trust them to ship anything and be assured of the quality.

Does anyone know of a salvage yard for airstreams closer to Northern Virginia than Missouri?

This is a list of salvage yards you will probably have to call around to verify what you may need.

Indiana has Vintage Camper, located in Peru, Indiana. I found a real nice fridge that was missing from my trailer, and also a mint condition stove, various hardware, lighting fixtures and more. All items were out of a '63 airstream. Call them up if you have trouble finding this or that for your trailer.

Does anyone know of a place in Western Canada or the Northwestern US that would have an awning for a 73 Safari? It has never had one. Also, how about fixing a leaky water tank. We have never had the "underbelly" off to see whats under there, we have only used the trailer once since we rescued it, but this is the only thing that isn't functional. Thx

Send a message via Skype™ to Melody Ranch
limit your search

I highly recommend that you limit the search to a Zip Dee awning. This will save you on many levels.
