Airstream Chiltons/Haynes Manual
Soo... I'm just a little curious. Does anyone know if there is a service manual for Airstreams. Like a Haynes/Chiltons manual. If not, there should be. I understand there are so many types and different appliances for each but they have them for cars. Why not trailers. Would make fixing things much easier for the common man. Does anyone know of anything like this? Apologize if this exist already and I just haven't found it yet.

You can down load appliance owners and technical manuals from the manufacturers websites.

There have been factory maintenance manuals available since 1970. They describe construction, repair, etc., down to the component level. Do a google search for "airforums maintenance manual" and you should get several hits. I bought one for my '73 on ebay.

Airstream has manuals available for many years on their website. Unfortunately (depending on your point of view) they are only for the older trailers from the 70's and 80's.

AWCHIEF: Your copy hit the mail Monday, 8/17 along with all other pre-ordered copies. They went out Media Mail so they should arrive before next Wednesday (8/26).
Anyone who orders the Maintenance Guide from the online Airstream Life Store will get a "back order" notice because we are waiting for the rest of the books to arrive via truck freight from the printer. We expect to be able to fulfill all back orders by September 1, 2015.
