Air Conditioner Mounting Bolts

Hello all. Does anybody know the proper torque or gasket compression when installing a Dometic Brisk Air with the drain cups.
The instructions included with the unit call for 40-50 inch pounds, but that is for a single gasket.
When using the drain cups you use two gaskets and all the install instructions say is that the 3/4 inch compressed thickness of the gasket does not apply.
It doesn't tell me what does apply.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, George

Yes the 3/4” compression does not apply because you now have 2 gaskets. The 40-50 inch/pounds is still the torque spec used.

Here’s a tip. Paint your drip cuts with a white spray paint to protect them from sun damage.

Note the old AC 13.5K was installed with one gasket and the New 15K was installed by me with two gaskets.

Yes. This is my second install of this unit. First time time my framing was not adequate. Nor was how tight I made it. But, yes, I had to order a new drain kit because the sun made the original cups brittle and they broke upon disassembly. Good tip. Thanks.
