We bought the 2014 31 Classic and the 2015 23D International Serenity new.

First trip was to A&P Vintage Trailer Works in Paradise, TX to remove the cheap problem area parts, upgrade wiring and other areas where QC issues arise and go back every so often for another tweak to the latest and greatest solar equipment, axle upgrades etc.

They both are completely customized to what we wanted at that time. Only the furnace, toilet and water pump are still OEM. The floor plan and OEM cabinetry work for us.

One alternative is simply to not buy one at all. Go with Uber and don't have a car. Rent don't buy your home (and still have problems). Forget about the boat ( ... any of them. ...) . Same with the RV.

Maybe you go on a cruise or tour instead of the RV. Lots of stores there. Rent the boat or RV? Even more stories.

There are no perfect answers.

Hi

If your solution is to buy nothing at all from anybody ever then you have taken care of the issue. If you believe that going somewhere else and buying something else is the answer ... nope, not a solution.

Old program saying, no matter where you go, there you are with all of your personal baggage.
