Added trim on bottom of LP tank cover

I noticed the bottom of my LP tank cover was splitting where it came in contact with my hitch load distribution bar brackets permanently installed on the tongue. I decided to place a plastic molding strip all around the bottom edge of the tank cover and it works like a champ. If anyone is interested here is what I found and ordered from Walmart that turned out to be just the right size and thickness to press onto the edge:

Protecting propane cover

Nice fix. I used 5/16 Fuel hose on the bottom of my cover only where it contacts the frame. I also used 5/16 fuel hose on the base of the propane tanks so they do not beat up the plate they sit on. splitting the fuel line requires a stout pair of scissors and some patience. When you set the cover back in place, you have to use 2 thick washers before putting on wingnut.
