AC reads exterior temp as interior?

Just got my new, right off the assembly line International FB27. The AC runs and runs and the only way I got it to turn itself off is to raise the thermostat to 79F. Which, happens to be the outside temp. The temp inside the trailer is a comfortable 71F. When I press the "Exterior Temp" button, it tells me it's 79F outside, which it is.

Anyone else experience this? Does anyone know where the sensor is for the INTERIOR temperature? The manual does not help much. It merely says the interior sensor is in Zone 1. I only have one zone, for I only have one AC unit.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Thanks!

The sensor is probably lost in the wall. This happened to me. Better let Airstream fix it.

Thanks for the comments! Do appreciate the insights!!

Airstream is going to look at it. Won't be until October because they're backed up, but that is okay. The air and heat works just fine, I just have to play around with the setting to get it comfortable.
