We rarely use the AC on our 2013 FC 25RB, but with a LOW temp tonight predicted to be 80 here in Deltaville, VA we thought we'd crank her up. It immediately blew cool air but also a tremendous vibration and noise from the roof top unit and/or the inside fan unit beneath. The whole business was visibly shaking and after 10 secs we cut it off. Any thoughts?
Could be an object or a nest on the blades or could be a loose fan bolt. Also have ya checked the voltage comin out of the pedestal? Low voltage could do that.
When I had my 2012 rear AC removed, we found that AS used only one doughnut gasket under the AC instead of the required two. This resulted in not enough compression of the gasket and allowed water to leak from outside (due to insufficient seal). This certainly increased the noise level.

I would suspect a nest of some kind inside the fan that circulates exterior air. I've seen dirt dauber nests get pretty large and heavy. Also the occasional small bird can get inside the housing build a nest.
