Brought My AS home from storage for a wash. Plugged into shore power and fired up the AC and heard a horrible thumping from one of my A/C's.
You are right , mud daubers had built a nest in the squirrel cage of the blower.
I tried fixing/straightening myself to no avail.
Called my mobile rv tech and he replaced the squirrel cage (bent) , now working quietly today. I ordered and installed 2 covers from ADCO RV Covers
https://www.rvcovers.com/collections...iAAEgK2w_D_BwE and put back into Covid 19 storage.
Sure am glad I found the problem before I got out on the road. Plan to visit New Mexico in the fall , maybe the virus scare will be over by then . Until then am staying at home.
Check your AC's for these pesky insects , especially if you live in the south.
