A/C Problem
Last night sleeping the the new camper for the first time, the main breaker and the 20 Amp that goes to the A/C tripped. They would not immediately reset. After waiting awhile, they reset and the A/C came on and made it through the night. About 9:00 this morning they tripped again and would not reset. When I got home with the A/C off, the breakers reset. I turned on the fan only and it worked. Turned on the compressor and the unit turned off. The breakers did not trip this time.
This camper has been in storage in a barn for a year. There were critter nests in a few places on the outside of it. I have not yet devised a way to get on top of it to pull the cover off the A/C, but I guess I am hoping to find a nest jamming it up. It cooled so well last night and ran for over 8 hours with no weird sounds so I am not overly optimistic.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Brad
