'94 Landyacht Motorhome Troubleshooting Water Pump and Generator

Just bought this Landyacht this spring and went out on our first adventure to make sure their were no little glitches before the long road trip. Two problems:
1. water pump comes on, sounds normal, but only spits water even after 10-15 minutes of being on???
2. Onan 6500 generator comes on and sounds alright but cuts out after 5-10 minutes???
Any ideas out there?

The water pump may be shot. Foan be Fortunately, replacements are not expensive (I always carry a spare, as my experience is that they fail on a Sunday in the middle of nowhere).

As for the generator, my suggestion would be to contact Cummins/Onan and have it serviced by them. I had previously had a 34-ft LY diesel and serviced the genset (which ran on LP) and engine at Cummins.
