‘87 moho: fix screen door frame?

Hi! The plastic slide keeps popping off and letting the skeeters in, so it’s time to try fixing the cracked frame of our screen door. Any tips on how to go about this? The two options I’ve considered so far are soldering (strong enough??) and a UV-cured epoxy-type resin. I’d like to do it right. Thanks for your thoughts!
