2019 International FBQ hydraulic bed lift broke!

I can't believe how the mfg installed this! This broke off while I was carefully and evenly closing down the bed, as I always do... Yeah, my husband can fix it and make it better than it was, but I am fuming that these screws were useless...and staples?? Seriously? Anything else I have to worry about? This is a 2019 we bought new. We've already had a number of problem cabinet latches... for ex. under the side lounge bed, one end didn't even line up. I would like to have all the shotty work corrected now. I understand there's maintenance and wear and tear all the time, I'm just complaining about bad workmanship for something that cost a LOT. Rant over.Click image for larger version

I see that as a "10-minute" opportunity to improve -and that would include removing and correcting the other side as well. It's disappointing, yes, but it is a travel trailer.

Yes, only a matter of time before the other side falls off. Thanks, Grumblin.
