2019 Flying Cloud AC Cover Screws

My dealership installed a Micro Air and while it
Works remarkably well I had that something might
Be wrong feeling. 500 miles later.

I asked them to remove the cover and verify installation
Yep it’s good!

Today I went up on the roof the 4 plastic cover screws were stripped out
Into the thin plastic cover base. I watched the tech use that darn
Electric impact.

So two hours later and a trip to Ace Hardware I installed over the stripped out plastic base four fender nut screw clamps. Bought new stainless screws with stainless washers and a fiber washer under them.

Also noticed the micro Air not secured just bouncing around rubbing against an ac line. Rerouted that and secured the micro Air with 3M Velcro tape.

Horrible that it seems no one cares to do it right. It would have soon rubbed through that ac line and that cover would have blown off hurting someone behind us

If you have had AC work or a micro Air installation you may want to check your covers and install.
