2016 International 27 FB Air Duct Install

After a rough stretch of I-65 in Indiana we had two of the round duct vent covers pop out. They just snap in and one was easy. For the life of me can't get the other one on. Am I missing something here or is there a secret I don't know? Any help would be appreciated.

When we changed out from the originals to rotating louvers I simply sprayed silicone onto the "snap" connectors.

Airstream cuts a circle into the roof for those vents, except their hole saw isn't really a hole saw, it leaves behind a small tab in an otherwise perfect circle. You have to either cut the tab left from the hole saw to make a perfect circle or insert the vent back into the hole aligning the left over tab in between the plastic 'fingers' that hold the vent in the roof.
