2010 FC Dinette Frame - what is under the fabric?

We are looking to remove the fabric on the dinette frame of our 2010 30' Flying Cloud and either reupholster or leave it bare (and/or possibly paint it depending on the material). Does anyone know what the dinette frame itself is made of?
