1996 Airstream Land Yacht - Keyless Entry

I just purchased this motorhome and in looking at the documentation it says that there was a keyfob to remotely lock and unlock the doors. I do not have a keyfob. Is there anywhere I can purchase a replacement? I know that they sell generic keyless entry systems by third party. Has anyone had any luck in installing one of these? Where is the receiver/electronics located on the motorhome? Any help would be much appreciated.

I have that same remote system on my Landyacht. Got 2 remotes but there is no name or ID on them, only an FCC ID# HY5MXI. The control module for the system is located under dash on drivers side. Might be behind the carpet panel if not easily visible.

You should also have a button on the dash that serves same function by locking/unlocking all compartment doors and the cabin door. I do not use the remotes but do use the dash switch to secure the compartment doors. For the cabin door I use the deadbolt lock with key on the left side of door when leaving rig. At night while sleeping always lock both deadbolt and the red lever lock from inside.
