1988 Dometic 2600

I have a Dometic fridge that is Lp/Electric. When I got the rig the fridge worked fine on electric. I tested it on propane for a few days and that worked great too. I switched it back to electric and a couple days later I noticed the fridge was not cooling. I checked all my fuses and have 110 at the outlet. I switched over to propane and it fired right up and cooled down. I checked the electrical heating element and it was not receiving any power. I tore everything apart and my switch is working and sending power to the thermostat but the thermostat is not passing it through regardless of where the dial is set. My question is is it possible for just the 110v side of the thermostat to be bad? That seems unusual to me but am not sure of the internals and how it regulates the burner on Lp. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
