1978 Intl. Sovereign - Waterpump & Tire replacement

Hi - Am in the middle of a restauration project on my newly purchased AS. Have issues getting the waterpump running (and flushing toilet). Hooked up to house power for the 1st time and I do have 120V running plus the controlpanel seems to be working.
First, does the waterpump require batteries to be running (No batt @ the moment. Secondly; the toilet has 2 pedals, whereas the one on the right can be pushed down but the left (bigger) doesn´t seem to move. There is Graywater in the bowl. Same question here, Assuming 12V DC is needed?
As for the wheels; front curbside tire needs to be replaced. Where would be a safe place to put a jack?
Thanks in advance
