Hi I need help more into on this and if anyone has a manual or ever know about this model

I have a "manual" for my '61 TradeWind. Really a wonderful paper collection describing all the specific appliances and systems on the Airstream and how to use them.


Honest to goodness factory manuals did not appear until 1964. I do have the bound factory manual for my '64 Bambi II.

How does she look inside.

Take a picture of the tags under the window by the front door. On that will be your serial number and you'll find out which model 62 Airstream you have. What does it measures ball to bumper

Also look at the Airstreams archive documents to see some of the original specs, layouts and brochures.

Oh I see in your profile you listed it as a Tradewind, so 24 feet (although there were 25 foot TW a few years earlier). Vintage Tradwinds are very popular and a favorite. Our first vintage was a 65 Tradewind. Enjoy, you are in the right place for help.

Sorry been lacking on the updates this is Day 3 and lotssss have been done
The whole airstream is secure now no more shaking new floorboards
Old Insulation my god really bad like every type of animal nest you think of was fossilized and there lol
All removed and fully cleaned
Vents? 13 X 13 any help?
I have been keeping daily photo and video trails and will upload to YouTube later on but will update here for all of you
