1960 Flying Cloud Shell of Restoration

Started a Full Shell of Restoration of or newly purchased 1960 22' Flying Cloud
Turned out to be a little more than anticipated, Inner skins and front and back shells off. Trying to get all the years of paint off has been a real challange. Shell is off, trailer sandblasted and painted, new marine wood floor, and shell back on. Going to get started on a total rewire, looking for advice. should I keep the breaker panel it the same location which now is just forward of the shower in a small closet?

Any advice would be helpful including new panel size
