1959 Caravanner- Irma damage assessment

My 1959 Caravanner shell got crushed by a tree during Irma. It sacrificed itself to keep a tree from falling on my house! I'm also thankful that I've been dragging this project out for so long that I never got a chance to marry the shell and my brand new frame together and start on the interior. That would've been much more traumatic.

Is there any value left in this old thing or just scrap it for the aluminum? Should I keep the frame and axle in the hopes of finding another 22' shell of similar vintage, or sell on? Any market for just axles and frames?

Looks like a loss. My suggestion is to remove all the windows, door, good ribs and such if you scrape it. Good news is, its repairable. It might be the extra mojo you need to finish.

It's available. PM me if you would like to come check it out. Once I get power back on and life a little more "normalized" i'll make an official list. I'm planning on getting rid of everything that was Specific to this trailer.
I'll try to take more pictures later today
Thanks, Lars
