Yellow and white wire

I have a 1973 Soveriegn and ran new brake lines and am putting a new 7 blade in. The original brake line had a black and white wire in red casing. The black spliced into a thick yellow wire right before the 7-pin and then yellow to 7-pin and the white went straight to 7-pin. Where does the yellow wire go and how does the white ground?
