Tekonsha Commander Brake Controller

Any experiences with this particular controller? The tow vehicle I bought happens to already have this installed. No, I haven't used it yet. I'm looking for experiences/opinions on it. Initially I was planning on installing a Jordan, however since I bought this truck and the Commander is already installed I was just gonna leave it.
Here is some info on it:

It's a pendulum type brake controller much like my previous Voyager.
The pendulum type controllers need to be leveled, but work ok. The prodigy uses electronic deceleration sensors to activate the brakes, which does not require leveling.
I now have the Prodigy, and would like to try the Jordan.
My prodigy works excellent while underway on the open road, but presents poor performance ( jerky brakes) while driving in traffic, especially any kind of stop and go.
If it works, then i would try it out, since it is already installed. Replacing it won't be very difficult, with all the wiring already done.

I will try it first. If the wiring is the same at the controller, splicing in the Jordan should be real easy. If the commander works well then I'll use it, if not then I'll up grade. I want a good, reliable, well performing towing setup.

Thanks

I used a Commander for 5 years prior to my current Jordan....as a matter of fact its sitting on a shelf in my garage today. I found it to be a good reliable unit and was pretty happy with it. I decided to go with a Jordan about four months after purchasing my '01 Safari. I didn't know what happy was until I used the Jordan for the first time. It makes all other older controllers pale in comparison. Even my dealer was surprised as to how good the Jordan felt when he did his test pull on my new Classic.
