Hydraulic disc brakes failed

My Father in Law's 1984 Airstream Limited is one of a small number produced that year with hydraulic disc brakes. recently, the brakes quit working altogether.

What We've already tried: Replaced connection receptacle, ensured 12v power is getting to the brake controller and the trailer, inspected and found no leaks, found no sign of fluid loss, found and replaced one collapsed vacuum hose.

All of this has not changed the problem. Does anyone have any experience with this brake system? Is there an internal seal that may be failing? Any help is most welcome!

On our maiden trip with new o6 30ft. classic the brakes failed, fortunately
we were in Fla. which is quite flat so it was,nt too bad. As it turned out the
pump went out and was replaced but brakes still were not right so I drove to Jackson Center they were calibrated and everything was fine after that.
