Did 1962 Globetrotter have brakes?

im wondering if the globetrotter had brakes? and if not can brakes be installed? is the 7 way plug the brakes?

Our 61 has brakes, yes.

yes they certainly did. I would recommend taking it to a reputable trailer service center to have them checked and repack the bearings while they are in there. it is something you could do yourself if you are hands on they are a simple magnetic setup unless and I have seen these have old hydraulic system. if so I would just have the axel replaced with all new brakes and bearings. that usually runs about 1200 bucks installed...
