conversion on 58 18 footer

I'm sure it's been beaten to death on this forum but I was wondering about the electric brake conversion for my 18 footer. I have some dexter 12 x 2 backing plates that bolt directly to my axle but am having a hard time finding hub/drums that will fit my spindle. Does anyone have a part number for drums that will fit the factory axle? am I stuck getting a new axle?

thanks gang!

Mike

Ok, heres the scoop.
to convert a Hadco axle from hydraulic to electric I was able to use dexter 12 x 2 backing plates and re-use my drums (they were good) with the use of an armature plate bolted to the inside of the drum.

If any one needs advice on Hadco axles or brakes go to the website (I just googled "Hadco brakes") or call and talk to Adella. She really knew her stuff.

Parts are on order and I can update anyone if there is any interest...
