Would like to replace brake plate assembly, bearings, and brake hubs on my 2005 safari. Several dealers have complete assemblies but not sure who supplies the best parts quality wise. Any suggestions? Airstreamsupply, Inland, etrailer?
You can read my post about my brake adventure on my 2004 Safari. I learned more about brake assemblies than I ever wanted to know.
That being said I would recommend Dexter assemblies for no other reason than Dexter stood behind there products and tech support was excellent. But as long as you match them correctly you will be fine.
A lot depends on why you are replacing them. Are they to small? Did they rot out? Was there accident damage? ....

Bob, I feel the time you have the work done by a shop, its almost cheaper to buy all new. Besides the trailer is going on 12 years old with many miles, it's best to change out the old with new.

Hi
Ok, so old Dexter brakes were fine / worked fine. Replace them with new Dexters. No muss / no fuss / no fit or compatibility issues.
